Good Afternoon, Raptor Families,

After careful consideration and discussion with staff and other stakeholders, we will reopen school for students on Monday, October 14th. Though we have been given Starlink devices to use at school, we are still encountering some obstacles with providing internet access to our classrooms. Also, our phone system is currently being worked on and we are still waiting to get the phone system up and running.

On Monday, October 14th, we will operate on a two-hour delay. However, the school will be open at 7:30 for any car riders who need to be dropped off earlier. All staff will report at 7:30. The two-hour delay bus schedule will be shared on the school’s website, on Facebook, and through text and email. We expect to return to a normal schedule on Tuesday, October 15th, and we will share the updated bus schedule in the coming days.

There are still many staff members and teachers as well as families without electricity, water, or wifi connection. Considering some of the obstacles many of our staff and families are facing at this time, we wanted to give a few additional days in the hope that opening on Monday will ensure that the school is fully operational.

Students will be served snacks and lunch each day this week. We also have bottled water available. We hope this helps families as they prepare their children to return to school.

School is open for parents to stop by and pick up supplies that they may need. We do have food items and other supplies that are available for our students and their families. Teachers and staff are working to ensure a safe reopening on Monday.
